Aaron Bally

Founder

Born and raised in Elyria, Ohio, Aaron Bally played sports year-round throughout his childhood. Being the middle of three boys, Aaron’s passion for sports was cultivated by driveway basketball, street flag football, and backyard baseball games in the neighborhood. (Aaron is a huge Cleveland sports fan; He still attends Browns games with his brothers). After receiving varsity letters in basketball and tennis at Elyria High School, Aaron attended The Ohio State University. Graduating from OSU in 2007, Aaron earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Science. He has worked in the health, sports, and recreation field for over 15 years, becoming proficient in management, entrepreneurship, marketing, administration and customer service. During that span of time, Aaron has mentored hundreds of young professionals who have led programs in over 25 Central Ohio communities, impacting tens of thousands of children. Aaron believes that the most important aspect of a youth sports program is having a great coach. Energy, enthusiasm and encouragement are the three E’s that Aaron preaches to his staff. And just because Aaron has a team of coaches, doesn’t mean that he has given up coaching himself. You will still see him out there a few nights a week working with the young athletes.

When Aaron’s not running Bally Sports Group, he’s at home being a dad to his boys, Maxwell and Jackson. Aaron and his wife Jacqueline live in Columbus where their children attend Worthington City Schools.
